Privilege vs license
The Social Work Compact does not replace your CE boards yet
As of August 2026 the compact is enacted in about 35 states and is not issuing multistate licenses. Every full LCSW/LMSW you hold still needs its own hours.
Not operational
There is no social-work privilege you can print today. Endorsement or a second full license is the path that actually lets you see a client in another state.
CE still means per-board hours
Ethics, cultural competency, and cycle length stay attached to each license. Do not stop tracking FL because GA also shows on NPI.
