| Requirement | Hours | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 50 Contact Hours in 24-Month CE Period | ≥ 50 | Connecticut APRNs renew annually, but APRN continuing education is measured over the preceding 24 months. APRNs must complete 50 contact hours in the APRN's practice area, including at least 5 pharmacotherapeutics hours; at least 1 hour each in diseases including AIDS/HIV, risk management, sexual assault, domestic violence, cultural competency, and substance abuse including prescribing controlled substances and pain management; and 2 hours on veterans' mental health/suicide-prevention topics during the first required cycle and at least once every six years thereafter. First APRN renewal is exempt. |
Looking up the rule is step one. Continuing Education Tracking App stores certificates, allocates category hours, and exports proof when you renew.
